FAQs

How the heck do I get ahold of this ging?

Lauren can be reached via email at flippinginger.mke@gmail.com or Lauren@flippingingerart.com

Alternatively, you can message her on instagram @flippin.ginger.art

Does she take commissions?

Of course! However, she has her limits.

*Lauren will NOT replicate another artist’s work without permission from the original creator, and not without making changes of her own to reflect her individual style. If you’re hoping for a line-for-line remake of an art piece you found online, kindly buzz off.

Please email flippin.ginger.mke@gmail.com to discuss what you’re searching for (medium type, commission size, pricing, estimated project times, etc). If she believes she can fulfill your vision, she will request a deposit up front (deposit is to “lock in” the client and cover cost of supplies), which will later be deducted from the final price.

Lauren does NOT begin a project until she receives her deposit. It’s very unfortunate to dedicate 20 hours to a commission just to get “ghosted” … as the youths say.

Does Lauren Flip Furniture?

Yes! That is actually where the Flippin’ Ginger’s business began! Lauren is fully equipped to refurbish or flip wooden tables, chairs, TV stands and more. She also re-upholsters fabric chairs and entryway benches.

Lauren does not:

  • Refurbish furniture weighing over 50 lb (due to previous back injury in battle)

  • Refurbish furniture with complex or ornate detailing/wood carvings etc.

  • Drive over 1 hour to obtain furniture for flipping

Are prices negotiable?

It never hurts to make an offer, but for the most part her prices are set as is for a reason. Her pricing is based on cost of supplies as well as time and effort put into each project. There is a lot more that goes on behind the scenes than one would imagine. So yes, feel free to negotiate, but kindly remember that she is running a small business.
